LEVIATHAN is a work-in-progress biopunk TTRPG, focused on tactical combat, survival, and the construction of a community in an arid, alien wilderness.

Players take on the role of mercenary explorers operating out of a post-human settlement  in the depths of a vast, hostile megastructure. Survival depends not only on scavenging and foraging the supplies and technology to sustain your people, but seeking out and destroying the threats waiting at the peripheries of the human settlements - predatory flora and fauna, ruthless marauders, and the lethal mechanisms of the megastructure itself.

Features

Streamlined Tactical Combat: Battle the strange and hostile denizens of the megastructure in tactical combat. Roll your dice at the start of combat, then assign them to your actions; the higher the die spend, the greater the effect.

Diceless Narrative Gameplay: Decide what you're willing to wager, spend or sacrifice to get what you want. Achieve your aims with compromise, expend resources to get what you want, or invite complications to strengthen your resolve.

Born by Chance: Assemble your character by rolling their Background and two posthuman Traits, creating hundreds of potential combinations of abilities.

Build Your Home: Acquire resources and allies as you explore the depths of a vast alien megastructure, then invest them back into your Outpost to gain facilities and advantages for future expeditions.

Embrace Change: Your post-human genome reacts to fatal trauma with life saving transformations; space and time bends to restore you from a parallel timeline; the alien intelligence permeating the megastructure resurrects your failing flesh by blending it with machinery. Live, die, live again.
