EREBUS is a dark sci-fi TRPG with a focus on tactical combat and tense narrative conflict. 

Players take the role of a team of operatives travelling through time to prevent the destruction of Earth at the hands of an alien invasion, fighting a guerilla war to reverse the invasion's victories and create a better future.

This is the game I've been looking for. Lancer-like tactics, streamlined rules and basic premises roughly compatible with my long-nurtured pipedream of running an X-COM-like campaign in the setting of B.P.R.D.: Hell On Earth. Thank you!
